Man critical tonight after shot to stomach
by Ron Zeitlinger Friday July 11, 2008, 11:32 PM An 18-year-old Jersey City man is fighting for his life after he was shot tonight on Bramhall Avenue, police said. The man, who was shot in the stomach, stumbled into a home on Bramhall after being shot at about 10:03 p.m., said Lt. Edgar Martinez, Jersey City Police spokesman. He is in "extremely critical condition" at the Jersey City Medical Center, Martinez said. Neighbors told police they heard gunfire and then saw a black Jeep Cherokee speed away from Bramhall Avenue.
