Star Trek convention: Spend much and prosper

Star Trek crew members, as well as many of their fans, traversed the universe -- and Route 3 -- to the galactic quadrant we call home this weekend for the Star Trek convention in Secaucus.

Ferengi's Rules of Acquisition were suspended for the day, so a good time was had by all -- except of course Ferengi, who complained that he wasn't earning enough to pay the $8 toll.

Phasers were set on fun, with many autographs acquired from the likes of Data and Rom, from "Star Trek: Deep Space 9." Klingons, Romulans, Earth beings and Vulcans all co-existed peacefully, at least for the day -- after a truce had been brokered by Star Fleet Command and the Universal Federation of Planets, naturally on Cardassia Prime in the Alpha Quadrant.
