Yes, we did (and still do) have 1 spot left in this class as it's limited to only 8 kids altogether. It's a great class for kids who are in 3rd or 4th grade and are looking to learn new language and story-telling skills, tap into their own creativity and further explore their love and understanding of English language.

Creative Writing (Gr. 3-5)

Everyone has a story to tell. This class will explore elements of story-telling (e.g., character, conflict, climax, and resolution) that make for strong creative fiction. Students will both read and write poems, short stories, and plays in the process of growing their vocabulary and grammar skills - skills useful for school and while preparing for the tests. Students will share their original work in the classroom "workshop" and learn valuable techniques for editing and revising their work that will transfer to their writing across all disciplines. As a final project, students will put together a literary journal of the their best work from the class.
