I have that type of dishwasher.

You open the door to set the controls. The dishwasher will activate on the setting you have chosen when you close the door.

I have an undercounter dishwasher - the controls of whose are difficult to reach. The undercounter dishwasher is made by "Kitchen Aide" and the controls are located on the top section of the door. When you close the door the control buttons are just under the countertop making it nearly impossible to slide your hand to select the cycle or even start/stop. Has anyone dealt with such an issue ?

Is there a solution without having to reinstall the dishwasher ? Any suggestions would be welcome.
