I haven't seen it open in a long while (6 months about) and the sign/awning is flipped back onto the roof.
Earlier this week I noticed some paint cans in there, and a neighbor told me this morning that the Music Box Bar, which is right next door, is going to take it over and open it at night this summer.

Good seafood is very under rated.

I've only ever been here when I was drunk and very late at night. Once I got chided by the owner for not being drunk enough, which gives you an idea of what this place is all about. I don't think it's ever had regular hours and the guy who runs it is usually at the Music Box until someone comes into the "station." They had some sort of student discount on the board at one point, so I assume it is or was occasionally open during the day. The chicken I've had there was good, but a little dry. Think I had a burger too. Fries were excellent. Bummed if it is actually really truly closed because it's like a magical treat when you're hammered on a Friday night.

Putting it on classic white bread is the best way to eat it in my opinion. A little messy but delicious.

I live a few blocks away and it seems like it's closed for good. I've eaten there twice. Catfish was good but not great.

I had an interesting takeout cheese steak there about 8 or 9 years ago. It had strange hours even back then. I walked passed there about a month ago and saw people inside, but did not look open.

Always wondered if this was the same Jordan from Newark Ave's "Jordan's Seafood & Steak."

It's on I think Monmouth Street? Near Hamilton Park. Bizarre-looking hole in the wall, but I love holes in the wall. I'm wondering what it is exactly ... a seafood takeout place??
