OMG, and Newark comes in at #46.
What a joke. I'm sorry, I know I live here and I love it. BUT-I would not raise kids here. No way, no how!!!

Rural and suburban kids die all the time from drunk or just stupid driving, at a far higher rate than any urban violence can achieve.
