As long as the Pizza Hut doesn't close down, we're good.

I drove by today and noticed the BK is open. Looks like the same "movie star" decor.

You cost me a box of a dozen Dunkin Donuts (hitting my wallet and waistline) and a few other items from stores surrounding the BK. I am just relaying what I was told by some employees. It seems a few weeks ago there was some police/fire department action. The roof was leaking into the store and it was shutdown. I looked in the windows but didn?t see anything this morning with all the heavy rain you would have thought there would be a mess. Maybe it was in the kitchen or it is now fixed. Yes, I saw the now hiring sign maybe they are getting ready for a comeback.

They really should update the interior. That movie star theme is dated although the car is still cool. Ok so maybe the Arnold Terminator picture is too. With the area picking up?a 68 unit apartment building now open ( https://www.16bennett.com/ )and 120 and 600 unit buildings planned across from rt 440. Hip it up a little.

PS- there is a yelp review from 2/2018 that talks about the bad roof leaks. But you would have thought it would have been fixed a year later.

Usually use drive through, but yesterday 2/11/18 I decided to dine with some friends. It was pouring rain outside, and inside. At the desk where you order the ceiling was leaking all over, they had plastic bags on the registers. Right over the fountain drink machine water was coming down honestly can't say if I got roof water in my cup of soda, but can't say I didn't.

The Burger King that was on Newark (i think the book store is now) had a closed for renovations sign on it for like a good 5 years or so. It was eventually renovated, but not as a Burger King.

Yes, they still have everything inside.
I tried calling that number but nothing.
Funny thing is they have a hiring ad in the window & closed.
Also that website says closed everyday.
Strange.

.
I saw this on the BK website:

Burger King - Temporarily Closed Clandenny Ave & Route 440 South
Closed Today

Maybe they are renovating it? Didn't they still have those old movie star posters up? I have not been to that one in a while but there was a manager who I recall really ran a tight ship. She kept things moving along fast on her shift. Very friendly woman.

Hey, just want to see if anyone knows why the Burger King King 440 is closed.
It's been closed for about a week now. I forgot what day I saw someone inside cleaning up & there was a closed sign outside.
It's still closed today so I was just wondering if they will reopen soon or if they are closed for a health violation.
I can sure go for them pancakes and coffee right about now.
