Can't speak to the amenities, they seem decent enough at the place, but the map showing the so-called shopping and dining near the place is hilarious. Nearby shopping consists of Acme, Walgreens, Home Depot and the Hudson Mall. Nearby dining consists of Wendys, Jollibee and Wonder Bagels. Oh boy! Sign me up, I can't wait to move in.

The monthly rents are insane for that area, and the place has no pool, but they are waiving the application and amenity fees, so I guess that's something. They must be banking on the place being so new inside to attract renters.

Meh. Monthly pet fees are commonplace in most rentals, certainly in new construction.

But, the overall pricing of this building is completely bonkers. You could live in DTJC, or much closer, for the same amount of money. Heck, I have neighbors paying just a tad higher for their 2bd and we live in a building with more (and, better) amenities in DTJC and within a 5 minute walk of the PATH.

Sorry, but I can't resist. When Rosie takes up residence there she'll be....you know it's coming, don't you?....Rosie the Riveter.

Is it ready?

Rivet, a new residential bulding at 23 University Place Blvd. in Jersey City, suffered damage in a fire Thursday night.

That's some ambitious pricing...!

3K for a 2b in the middle of nowhere, with a 10 minute walk to the nearest light rail station, and zero amenities in the vicinity. Who comes up with those rates?

Featuring 163 modern residential units, Rivet is a key component in the first phase of a mixed-use master plan to transform Jersey City’s west end neighborhood into University Place. It's located off West Side Avenue, between Stegman Parkway and Fulton Avenue.
