Police in Jersey City are investigating a stabbing that left a person injured in the city Tuesday. According to preliminary reports, the victim walked into the firehouse located in the 300 block of Newark Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. seeking assistance after suffering a stab injury. EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where their injury was not immediately reported as life-threatening. The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
