correct title should read:

zacche tries to save his pension immediately after learning feds extend romaniello bribery investigation.

coincident?

like with dwek, feds postponed second time romaniello sentencing. he is singing. and this is not the only investigation in progress.

think about it, 9 years romaniello was collecting bribes for not dispatching off duty cops to construction sites, and zacche never noticed. or did he?

at the same time zacche was personally protecting illegal chinese bus depot in vicinity of white castle at newark and kennedy.

Jersey City Police Chief Zacche to retire on June 1, owed $513k in unused time

By John Heinis/Hudson County View

“We thank Chief Zacche for his 38 years of service to the people of Jersey City and the men and women of the police department,” Mayor Steven Fulop said in a statement.

“In partnership with Chief Zacche, we have been able to grow the department to its largest size in two decades, build the department to better reflect the community, add more officers to walking posts, and work to steadily reduce crime.”

Fulop also noted that the city has has hired more than 250 new police officers, the majority of which were during Zacche’s tenure as chief, bringing the department to a total of 922 officers – the largest in about two decades.

Taxpayers now owe him 1/2 million when he leaves, it is terminal leave. Fulop should fix this, he complained about Healy doing bonding for terminal leave of employees but the same thing is happening under his administration.
