Mea culpa, Webmaster!

Maybe this is a new policy or a policy that is inconsistently applied because I don't recall liturgical events or choir concerts that I have posted being taken down at all- let alone the next day. It would sometimes allow for a post hoc conversation on the same thread. I know you favor an aggressive editing style, e.g. you regularly combine threads that address an issue from very different, even opposite vantage points. Well it's your website and this is America so that's your prerogative.

Apologies again for impugning your motives.

You Christians have such a persecution complex!

Wait - the Webmaster has something against Christo? I agree, his art isn't for everyone...

I removed your topic today because the Subject Line read ASH WEDNESDAY which was yesterday.

Many events are removed from the Event Calendar after the event is expired. If you do not want your event to be removed then post it on the Event Calendar.

So I put up a post about an Ash Wednesday liturgy and include the music that will be sung (mostly Renaissance masters). Then I added an explanation of the history and meaning of the feast along with some literary tributes from metaphysical poets and spiritual writers. And guess what? It is stricken of course.
