Talk to the Head of Animal Control about this issue by Lincoln Park. They are aware of it, and I believe they are working with another TNR organization to target that area. I do not know the time frame and they will need residents to help (all kinds of ways you can help based on your time and comfort level). Please contact the head of Animal Control to discuss and voice your concern about that area.

Just can't stay away

Lincoln Park, especially the north east side, is overrun by feral cats, many with violent propensities. Folks I know have been bitten or clawed over by the Church, where one or two lots have been completely overtaken by feline gangs.

Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. The Lincoln Park area is outside the target area for this Trap-Neuter-Return project so unfortunately we will not be able to assist at your location.

If you live or work in Jersey City's 07302 zip code and need assistance with community cats, Neighborhood Cats wants to help. Neighborhood Cats, an organization specializing in the humane management of outdoor cats, is conducting a targeted Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) project in 07302. We will be fixing a total of 1,000 ferals and strays in this area.
Each cat helped through the program is spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies and "eartipped" to permanently show the cat was fixed. All care is provided at no charge to participating caretakers. After recovering from surgery cats are returned to their original locations. Please note, this is a program for those who want their cats returned to them; Neighborhood Cats does not assist in the removal of cats. To request TNR services for your colony or to report the location of unowned outdoor cats in the 07302 area please call the Neighborhood Cats Jersey City TNR Hotline at 800-544-0474. To learn more about Neighborhood Cats' work visit www.NeighborhoodCats.org.
