Look at the spill over effects in JC.
Map: Brooklyn Has Had Explosion Of Million-Dollar Homes Hoboken is pretty much red. DTJC is getting to red. There are pockets around JSQ and Society Hill.

If you purchased in 2004-2006 you might be really hurting right now, no matter the zip code.

Well that sure is a fascinating map to hover your mouse over once you zoom in on the metro area. Never mind the JC stuff we already knew, that Greenville is dramatically lagging JSQ & the Height. Newark is doing badly. I thought it was doing better than that. A lot of speculators are either early or gonna get their asses handed to them. A huge chunk of the suburbs are just holding even, which means losses in real dollars. And 2004 was not the peak of the market.

A single-family home in Zip code 07305 in Jersey City, N.J., was worth $259,421 on average in 2015, about 8 percent more than in 2004. It's a moderately populated, mostly black area. The home values are typically lower than most of the homes in the New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ- area.
