Another in the Heights this time on the Western Slope and it was parked in their carport. A brand new 2016 Honda Accord all four tires/wheels gone with the car left on cinder blocks.

Thieves made off with all four tires from two cars in the Heights yesterday in what is least the third reported incident of tire theft this week.

Just before 9:30 a.m., a 39-year-old St. Pauls Avenue man reported to police that the tires on his 2014 Infiniti Q50 were stolen and his car was left propped up on bricks, a police report indicated.




The victim told police he parked his car near Seaman Avenue at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday and he learned of the theft from one of his neighbors. The tires and rims were valued at about $4,000, police said.

A new Honda Accord was left sitting on cinder blocks yesterday morning after someone stole all four wheels from the car, according to a police report.

The 2016 model was parked in front of School 25 on Kennedy Boulevard in the Heights at about 7:30 a.m. when someone reported that the tires and rims were missing, police said.

Police found 16 lug nuts and four wheel locks laying on the ground around the car. The 30-year-old owner could not be reached by police to inform him of the theft, the report states.
