Did the article mean Hoboken, because I can't for the life of me think of where AA is in Newport, and I've walked through that mother quite a bit.

The American Apparel clothing store in Newport Centre mall in Jersey City is one of eight the company is expected to close on Jan. 30 , BizJournals.com reported. The Los Angeles-based retailer has targeted the locations, including four in California, because they are underperforming, the website reported, citing bankruptcy filings. Among the reasons cited in the court papers, according to the report, are the inability to negotiate an "acceptable lease extension," high rents or sales slumps at those locations in November and early December.
