I'm not so sure these are 'good' figures !
With the population of Jersey City being around 257,000 it would mean that we have a 1/108 chance of being a victim of serious crime or 1/68 chance of being a victim of all recorded crimes. At least these figures might suggest it was a lot worse before the new Director of Public Safety took office!
