How dumb - pawning in the same neighborhood.
Sounds like this dude will never be likely to change his ways - He's obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed and incarceration is the only option but will not be his cure for rehabilitation !

By Michaelangelo Conte | The Jersey Journal on January 02, 2015 at 4:20 PM, updated January 02, 2015 at 5:49 PM JERSEY CITY -- A city man who has 10 criminal convictions made his first court appearance today on charges he pawned four women's rings that had been taken from a residence during a burglary, officials said. Tony D. Watson, 49, of Waldo Avenue, is charged with pawning the rings for $150 at a jewelry store on Journal Square in Jersey City on Sept. 24, the complaint says, adding that the charges were filed on Dec. 22 after the victim found three of the rings at the store. Watson, who has nine prior convictions for burglary, was also arrested yesterday on the charge of stealing a bicycle from a basement on Fourth Street in Downtown Jersey City, a criminal complaint says.
