The headline in today's paper is "having sex with" rather than "assault". This story is a bit muddy....Is this a case of forcible contact or consensual contact with a minor who by law is unable to consent.

He's been "charged" not convicted, yet. Unfortunately, in the court of public opinion he's already guilty because his picture is posted in the media. The name of the suspect should be all that is released until he's convicted, in my opinion. I thought we are innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Most students interviewed today outside Snyder High School found it hard to believe that an art teacher at the school could be guilty of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student.

Keith R. McGee, 37, of Glen Rock, has been charged with sexual assault on the girl, who is now 17, endangering the welfare of a child and child abuse. The incidents occurred in a classroom, authorities say.

"It's hard to process (he would do something like that,)" said one male student who had McGee as a teacher his freshman year at Snyder.
