Ah the old 'overheard' - I overheard that the Europa was going to be a pasta store. Maybe whatever opens up where will be like Raffettos on Houston. Wouldn't be cool if all the stores that open up on that block of Jersey were taken over by a reputable grocery chain and each store housed a different department - we'd have a supermarket without constructing a big surface building. Wegman's Main Street, Whole Foods In Town, etc.

When I was at Choc O Pain I overheard that it would be a pasta type establishment, I wish I had more info or understood what that meant? Hoping it's not another Italian restaurant? We certainly don't need another!

Construction signs on the storefront directly north of the demolished hardware store indicate that the interior is being built out as a "food shop". Anyone have any details on it?
