Tris McCall is as objective as they come, and a resident of Jersey City. Knit pick what you will, I found the article factual and well written. He doesn't have an agenda, and tells it the way it is.

Since we're normally at one another's throats here, nothing can bond us together like an outsider sharing his two cents about a city and striking out on every single point he's trying to make.
Behold, the Super Bowl 2014 fan guide: Navigating Jersey City -- Tips for Visitors In this article, you'll read some gems like.... Quote: Even with a GPS in your pocket, it's not too hard to get lost. ... where the author claims Newark Ave and all its unpredictable behavior creates havoc for those trying to navigate downtown streets. Or, you'll read about how much it sucks to have two feet in Jersey City ... Quote: Much of the city was not designed for pedestrians. .... the same city that was ranked "Very Walkable" this past year on this website here. The worst (and there's many) has to be this one ... Quote: Walking the waterfront is not easy The author claims that condos and piers provide obstructions. The author has clearly never stepped foot on the walkway because every new development along the water has by law been required to provide public access to the waterfront. In fact, the only obstruction between Hoboken and Bayonne is a little sliver near the Morris Canal that connects Paulus Hook to Liberty State Park. This page can tell you even more! What an absolute pile of trash.
