After having a kid & using a stroller all over we've noticed how impossible it must be for people to get around with a wheelchair on public transit.
Not sure if this is an option for you but the exchange place path elevators work (you have to take 2 to get from street to path train) and the 33rd street path elevators work (just one elevator there), so you could get from JC to midtown on the path.

Hello,
Does anyone know of a company that has wheelchair accessible taxis or transportation options? I am looking to go from Jersey City to midtown NYC with a wheelchair and 3 other people. The NJ Transit Access Link only travels within the state and does not go across to NY. Any help you can provide would be great. :)
