This is ridiculous. Do people really not know how to treat someone decently???

Oh the thousands they will waste on hiring some consultants and then spending thousands more for pamphlets that no one will read.

You have a problem with a blue ribbon panel on rudeness?

Who are the JC bus drivers? The only bus drivers that work for the City of Jersey City drive the bus that shuffles the seniors monthly to movies & some other functions. Or are you referring to the cretins hired by the BOE to transport our children?

Oh & your youtube offering.....Chris Rock is about as funny as stage 4 pancreatic cancer, imo.

Should all city workers be required to wear an id name tag or number on their uniform or attire ? It would help us identify rude workers and would also make them aware of their accountablity - It would be possible not only to report poor service or behavior but also excellent customer service and behavior.
It would interesting to know if there is anything written in their position description or their quarterly Service Delivery Review (SDR) on performance each year?
In reality these city workers are the true frontline ambassadores for this city and reflection of the Mayor's goal to be a welcoming city

The 162-page report prepared by the people who served on Mayor Steven Fulop?s transition committee was released recently, making a series of recommendations including retraining city employees in how to deal with the public; selling more taxi medallions, and folding the Parking Authority into the Police Department.
