Thanks for the info... It would be nice if neighbors in the area were alerted to local mains work by the city, maybe even using the JC emergency alert system that warns us of extreme weather etc ... yeah, I know I'm dreaming..

Not sure but there is a metal road plate at the corner of Monmouth and 9th. I was kept awake by the cars driving over it all night long. Maybe it's there because of water main work being done at that corner. I live in the area but I didn't notice brown water this morning.

Was wondering if neighboring buildings were getting brown water this morning ? or if anybody knew if water main repairs were being made?
