Jersey City man who invited 2 to home for sex is stabbed, robbed: cops

The evening took a violent turn for a Jersey City Heights man who invited two men over for a sexual encounter Sunday when one man pulled out a gun and the other a knife on him, authorities said.

Officers responding to the area on a report of a stabbing spoke to the 37-year-old Thorne Street man who said a man he knows called asking if he wanted to have a "menage a trois" and he agreed, a police report says.

The victim told police the two men came to his apartment around 5:45 p.m. and soon afterward one of the guests took out a gun and the other man took out a pocket knife, the report says.

The wounded man told police the pair demanded money and the man with the knife stabbed him three times in the abdomen, the report says. The victim told the officers the apartment door was locked so he fled from his attackers by climbing out a window and down a fire escape, the report says.

The Thorne Street man told officers that a cell phone and about $400 were taken from his home, but he then became uncooperative, the report says. The victim was taken by ambulance to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.

The man with the gun was described as being 6 feet and wearing beige pants, and the other man was described as being 5-8 and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, the report says.
