that intersection of grand and marin turned into a dangerous rapid river during the storm. edwards had to have had at least 5 feet of water, and i'm pretty sure cicada had even more. i saw some people jumping ship from cicada around 7pm that night while the water was at their waists, and it only went up from there.

We spoke with Dan at Edwards. He lost the whole first floor. He estimates a month before he can open again.

I actually saw Terry the day after, walking around. I have to imagine his building was totally flooded. Hope he reopens, as well as Edwards and Taqueria.

Has anybody seen either Taqueria, Edward's, or Golden Cicada open since the storm last week? I imagine all 3 got flooded, and yet I haven't seen anybody working there, pumping water out, and neither of these 3 businesses have been open to my knowledge since the storm. Any word on these guys?
