If he uses MapMyRun, they have a live tracking feature. You'd have to install the app and know the route.

Refreshments following the run are usually pretty sparse; a banana, a bagel. I usually buy something from the nearby deli as I leave.

There's the strip along Grand Street, where you'd be able to see him going into the park and when he gets back out. Then you could cut back to the finish line, if you're on a bike or have a car.

I heard them around 5th and Jersey, hours after their normal time. Poor guys. Must've been a terrible night.

So, is your concern why you aren't getting warnings before the citations? or are you not sure about what you are doing incorrectly with your trash that you keep getting citations?

We have neighbors who regularly put bags of trash on the sidewalk on non-trash days. Trash is only supposed to be put out on the sidewalk on trash days after 7pm.

This week, a neighbor put their cans out on the sidewalk on Wednesday (trash day was thursday). They should have gotten a ticket.

I went to court for a BS ticket. Luckily the information on the ticket contradicted itself and the judge threw it out. I came equipped with photos, as well. It is a PITA but I was so pissed, it was more matter of principle.

Yes, it's a horrible system. But it seems to make perfect sense to them

One way is to sync up with their May cycle by getting an extra shot. I've also gotten the 3-year vaccine, but it still didn't sync up with their 3-year May cycle, so I could only get the license issued annually.

I'm also sorry to say that I've also had license lapses because of their crazy system.

Once, I had a senior dog, who had gotten the 3-year vaccine in May, so I applied for the 3-year license and they made sure to inform me that I could not get a refund if the dog died before the license expired. :\

FYI, we had a frozen pipe burst this morning. We called Byron Hutchinson (I think we woke him up), and he was there right away. Price was totally reasonable and he fixed us up quickly. We're going to have him back to permanently fix the problem by moving the chilly pipes.

I think Byron Hutchinson 201 888 4752 can handle that. Also see plumber thread.

I've got one:

I went to the All About Downtown street festival a couple of weeks ago. I was carrying my license and cash in a small leather sleeve. I sauntered about 75 feet into the crowd, browsing booths and realized I no longer had the sleeve. I turned around and slowly retraced my steps, through the crowd and the several blocks back to my house. At my house, there was a JC cop standing on my stoop, ringing my doorbell. He had the sleeve and all my cash! He said another cop had found it and he was dispatched to return it.

+1 for El Sazon De Las Americas
+1 for Gypsy Grill's pita sandwiches

Also Delenio's has a great, big cheesesteak for $8.

This is great news. I've bought scallops and salmon from their stand several times. Always excellent. But no, not cheap.

They have a website http://www.jcfishstand.com/ and a facebook page. They do not list prices.

I also have been loving and buying their almond cookies since they opened. I bought a pound of them yesterday to take to a dinner party, and i was raving about them, but they were hard as rocks. I was really embarrassed. Guests were saying they 'were really tasty', but they were only being polite. It was sad.

I (female) run at 5:30. I feel safe on the waterfront (and I get to see the sun rise) and through the downtown streets. As it gets darker, I don't really like going over the foot bridge alone. One reason is there are a lot of skunks in the park and they've caught me off-guard. And some of them don't seem right (rabid).

I've never been hit by a car.

I also run with a dog and without headphones.

There's also the Offshore Sailing School in LSP. I took beginner classes there and enjoyed it, although I didn't take the training further. It was a week-long course and was a nice stay-cation.
