Karen has reopened on Grove and York, but is still without power. Wildly shilling for 2 Stix & a String to keep her open. Don't we all need yarn for the holidays?

I stopped in yesterday - intending to JUST look. Of course, I couldn't resist. She has a lot of really gorgeous stuff -- a lot I've never really looked at before. I checked out the on line price of what I bought - almost the same, and when you add in shipping, less. The owner intends to have an opening party in September.

2 Stix & A String is opening soon on York at Grove (former home of FJB, pre-fire). I stopped by this morning as the owner, Karen, was opening up. As usual, the permit process is holding her up. (Note to City: why do you go out of your way to hold up new businesses? Oh, yes, we all know why...wink, wink).
Anyway, the store looks great and I can't wait for a new LYS....a real one, not just a coffee shop with yarn.
