Healy's numbers are cooked and he knows it.

Perception is reality on crime issues and JC is perceived as dicey by its residents and a ghetto by your average tri-state resident.

Team Healy you could at least try to be part of the solution instead of scheming on how to get an earlier/fatter retirement package...

Samuel Clemens liked to tell his audience something about numbers by saying, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics."
Some Jersey City residents can relate to this.
On Thursday, Mayor Jerramiah Healy once again rattled off FBI stats -- collected from local police numbers -- to back his constant assertion that crime has dropped "significantly" since he took office in a special election, November 2004.
"Our residents should know that Jersey City is one of the safest large cities in New Jersey and continues to become safer every single day," he said.
