Lavarro is from the Greenville area Ward A while Viola is from Ward F Bergen Lafayette.

One interesting result of yesterdays election was that the two winners are both from the Bergen/Lafayette area. And since Viola is now vacating her Ward F seat, another resident of Bergen/Lafayette will need to be appointed to that seat. This means that the Council will now have three reps from Bergen/Lafayette.
It will be interesting to see if this raises the status of B/L among JC neighborhoods and among Council members.
