My daughter plays there and has had a great experience for the last five years. I found out that registartion begins this Saturday and every Saturday thereafter excluding holiday weekends from 10 - 11:30 am. They'll also be there on Monday and Wednesday's from 7 - 8:30pm. Sessions take place at the Clemente Clubhouse which is located on their field at Pavonis & Brunswick St. Make sure you bring proof of residency; utility, phone or tax bill etc and childs bith certificate. Hope that helps.

The Sheriff's Office provides security in the Superior Courts for Judges and participants. They are the responsible law enforcment agency in the transportation of prisioners to and from the Correctional Facility to the Courts. They provide law enforcement action in all the County Parks and County Roads. They enforce all bench warrants issued for an arrest by Superior Court Judges and all auction sales of foreclosed properties in the County. It is a Constitutional Office established by the State of New Jersey. Their job and responsibilities are vastly different than the Municipal PD.

With a recall effort to oust him he doesn't need that community up in arms against him.

Not to rain on your parade (no pun intended) but he's not our Councilman until the City Council votes for him in and is sworn in.

If he's such a great guy tell us about him. The only thing I've been able to ascertain is that he's Vega's neighbor and Mariano got him the job in the Mayor's Office. I've been in Downtown for 30 years now and no one not even my Latino friends know who this guy is. So please share.

Was having a bite to eat at the Hard Grove when we overheard two Hispanic men talking about Healy choosing some guy named Omar Perez. Seems like he's a Healy Aide. I personally never heard of him. Has anyone here? I'm sure like Nonez he'll just be a rubber stamp.

The gall of Healy to want to replace Vega with a guy that's been his underling for the past few years. First off, the Guy (Nunez) ran for Mayor and Council receiving very few votes and being a dual job holder for the last fee years. Oh wait, he fits right in with that crew.

This was Steve Fulop's guy a couple years back for Congress... I believe Vas carried Ward E only

Guess we know why Steve went independent....

This state is just so dirty and corrupt... everyone of the these politician's are dirty... Can't wait to see what happens when Obama' Stimulus Kiss to Hudson County starts pouring in...

The Federal Prosecutor's Office might as well start writing out the indictments; just leave the name blank for indicted and unindicted co-conspirators... Who do you think they will flip first?

The money will disappear faster than what Obama is pouring into the Middle East / Pakistan... Imagine what the Hudson County Pol's could extort if they had nukes?

Just remember... this is all for the children

Yeah you're right that was Fulop's guy. It's ashame the Councilman is such a bad judge of character! Here's a link to additional charges just filed against Vas. Thanks Steve!

Does Councilman Fulop have any comment on the recent arrest of the director of Jersey City pensions,a Healy administration member?

I read a local newspaper account about how this Healy administration official was arrested for drunk driving involving an accident soon after a Healy fund raiser was ending.

The article mentioned "a familiar local government theme".This appeared in the Jersey Journal on
March 7,2009 by Agustin C. Torres. If I am not mistaken the theme the article speaks of IMO is the use of alcohol by some local Jersey City officials and problems that arise afterwards.

Thank goodness no one was hurt when the director of Jersey City pensions was involved in this accident.

As appearing in the article the accident was on Sixth street,it involved a Jersey City director and a arrest for drunk driving soon after a Healy fundraiser. To me this would seem to be a public issue.

This is Ward E right?

Councilman Fulop, I know in the past you have been inclined to comment publicly on different events including those involving Healy administration members.

How do you feel about this incident and in your opinion what do you think is meant by " a familiar local government theme"?

Are things like this if proven to be true a tarnish on Jersey City's image or is the tarnish only limited to the person involved?

I have respected your opinion in the past, thank you for any input you may have.

Does anyone else who is also a candidate for councilperson in Ward E have any comment?

I agree! Councilman let's hear your thoughts on this absurd behavior!

Political stickers and posters have been used since for probably well over 60 years (at least) by politicians. I doubt if we're going to see any changes in that system anytime soon!
