By "park across the street," do you mean the JC Police Internal Affairs building? We're talking about the place on the corner of Bay and Erie, correct?

Good to know. I've only walked this block once in all the years of living in JC. I'd wondered about that little park across the street.
Doesn't sound like a good block to invest in...

I live down the block from this place. It is a blight on the neighborhood. There have been a number of arrests outside for drug dealing and an uzzi was found in the park across the street. And most nites the drunken patrons come rolling out at 1-2 AM, cursing, fighting, throwing bottles, etc. I've often found their beer bottles littering my front yard.

Not too shy to talk

I'm all for local businesses, but this joint is out of place within the nbr'hood. Maybe they came before the nbr'hood improved (slightly) to what it is today .... so can't blame the owner.
Never been inside, so don't know how the experience is ...

From an outsider's perspective, it looks scary.
