Oh was the law that says all vehicles on the road had to be registered been repealed?

Simple solution, keep your car in good standing and registered.

you also can't DRIVE an unregistered car in JC. a friend of mine got a ticket in the mail (in Fair Lawn) after driving down Erie and the license plate readers got her.

Is this a notice to all those who do not have their cars registered or is it a post about fight-the-system "no one told me I had to have a registered car, there should be a sign that says so on every block" type post?

There was mention a few months back that police cars in JC / Hudson County are now equipped with drive-by plate readers. This shouldn't come as much of a shock.

A guys car got towed today because he?s got an unregistered car.. I don?t know if there were previous summons issued for it or what, when I went to ask what happened to the cop, he told me the car isn?t registered and they had to tow it.. The tow guy did a botched up job getting it on the flatbed. First he didn?t pull it right and the car went over the ledge of the flatbed and a good 10 mins later of banging it he dropped it back and pulled it straight..

The PD car has the license plate reader on its roof and it got the hit while the car was passing by.
