There are parking permits for various things. If you get a zoned parking permit for $15 a year, you have to have a JC registered license. BUT you can then park in a spot that says zoned or permit parking only--still gotta pay the meter though.

I remember reading number of years ago about a block that was shut down for filming and residents claim they were towed and somewhere saying there has been other problem of that block with the JCPA as they were ticketing people who had a permit to park in meters and they were being ticketed.. What is this permit, anyone else heard of this?
