Esther Wintner, one of six candidates running for the unexpired Ward B seat today, said her jewelry, her son's guitar and a Kindle, an electronic reading device, were stolen from her home yesterday morning. Wintner, a Bentley Avenue resident, said she and her husband were out at the time of the break-in and her children were at school. When her children arrived home, they noticed their rooms had been rummaged through, Wintner said, adding that they immediately called police. She said a window was pried open and she believes that's how the person or persons entered her home. Healy and his team keep touting crime is at a 30 year low...how delusional are they?
This is every reason why not to vote for David Donnelly, he is part of Team Healy.
David Donnelly is the Machine Candidate for Ward B, loyalties are to Healy and the Machine.
He has long been associated and worked for Mayor Healy and the Administration, he was appointed out of patronize.
David Donnelly is everything what is wrong with the current administration and it patronizing ways.
David Donnelly voted to keep paying benefits for the volunteer workers who meet once a month with most, if not all of them being from someones family for Healy to his Captive Council.
David Donnelly uses a city car, rather trying to set an example and give up the car which is also used for personal use and cost the taxpayers of Jersey City.
David Donnelly also voted the Team Healy way on over 80 million dollars of bonds which will come out of the Jersey City residents pockets.
Now they want to cut the police bidget by 8 million, we need our police.
Jersey City cannot continue with the Healy agenda running Jersey City, we must remove this young Healy from the council.
Residents of Ward B, come out and VOTE FOR ESTHER WINTNER 10E on Tuesday November 2nd.

This experience has 2 benefits.

1. It is a great reality check for Esther to the crime problem we have in the city

2. It prevents Esther singing 'kumbaya' without her son's guitar in HP, as part of her campaign strategy

Is this crime campaign-related ? I think not!
More like a drug related campaign by the perp..... some quick items to be pawned off.

Jersey City Police are investigating a break in at a City Council candidate?s home earlier today.

Esther Wintner, one of six candidates running for the unexpired Ward B seat tomorrow, said her jewelry, her son?s guitar and a Kindle, an electronic reading device, were stolen from her home sometime this morning. She was still going through things to determine if anything else had been stolen.

Wintner said she and her husband were out at the time of the break-in and her children were at school.

When her children arrived home, they noticed their rooms had been rummaged through, Wintner said, adding that they immediately called police.

She said a window was pried open and she believes that?s how the person or persons entered her home.

Wintner would not say whether she thought it was campaign-related.

She is running against City Councilman David Donnelly, Isaiah Gadsden, Raymond Skop, Earlin Thomas and Diane Verlingo to finish the unexpired term of Phil Kenny who resigned last year after pleading guilty to federal corruption charges.
