wasn't this the one where the owner was robbed of a briefcase with several thousand dollars cash when he was leaving and walking near the brownstone diner? Surely there is some sort of cc video in that pharmacy?!

This drug store was robbed twice before in the last 3 years at gunpoint.

Carry Pharmacy in Downtown Jersey City was robbed by two gunmen Saturday morning. A Union City pharmacy was hit by gun-toting robbers 48 hours before.

A Downtown Jersey City pharmacy was robbed by two men carrying handguns yesterday morning, making it the second such robbery at a Hudson County pharmacy in 48 hours.

A pair of gunmen entered Carry Pharmacy on Bright Street at Jersey Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. and threatened employees and the pharmacist, police said.

Brandishing two large caliber handguns, the gunmen emptied the cash register of more than $500 and also took an undisclosed cache of prescription drugs, reports said.

The men then fled in a unidentified vehicle, reports said.

On Thursday morning at around 11:30 a.m., America's Pharmacy, at 1500 Summit Ave., in Union City was robbed of prescription drugs including Percoset and Xanax by two masked gunmen, the store owners told The Jersey Journal.

In that robbery the men took at least $2,000 from the cash register before fleeing in a car, the store owners said.
