Just know that at tonight's meeting, which Mariano Vega was absent from, the council voted on and passed: 1. That the new fiscal calendar shall coincide with the calendar year. 2. Passed ANOTHER tax increase of about $20 per quarter. 3. Admitted that the budget gap is not $56 million, but is in fact $80 MILLION. AGAIN, VEGA WAS ABSENT. HOWEVER, I SAW HIM FIT AND IN GOOD SPIRITS, WEARING SHORTS AND A GOLF SHIRT GETTING COFFEE THIS MORNING AT THE BODEGA ON THE CORNER OF CCD AND VARICK. HIS ARROGANCE IS BEYOND INSULTING AND REPRESENTS EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THIS CITY. EVERYTHING.
