i wonder how long the guy waited around for such perfect victims. between those cameras, the project's cameras, the gas stations (buying cigarettes), the mall, and people driving by someone must have seen a guy of this description.

too bad he can't stick up the people in his own neighborhood who have money: the dealers.

what this town needs is an Omar Little or to clean house

there are at least four cameras on that block. 2 on the school and 2 on the Roosevelt. Hopefully one of those was able to record the incident and hopefully the police took the time to investigate.

I drive up 10th coming back from the Holland tunnel and often seen families walking their dogs and playing with their kids on that block.

Unfortunately, it happens to be very close to the projects and homeless shelters on the other side of the tunnel, and the tunnel brings in a criminal element as well.

Absolutely disgusting. I hope they catch this animal.

A police report was made. Lets hope there is more patrolling around the area since the man was armed and dangerous. No media follow up though.

On Saturday July 17, around 9:45pm, a man with gun held up 5 people including 3 females and a baby on 10th and Marin Blvd and robbed them of cash, threatening to kill the baby. This happened just behind Jersey City Golden Door Charter School. You can see a lot of suspicious elements in the Newport mall parking lot too. The residents around that area should be careful as this was considered a safe area but no more. There is hardly any police patrolling in that area.
