That's a great picture of Google maps; it depicts the neighbor"hood" quite nicely with its litter strewn about. I wonder what price they are "fetching" for real estate these days. Almost everyone is in uniform with the white tee shirts, a hot dog truck with its door left open, and a fat girl crossing the street obviously to eat more nutritional dogs.

Police tried to stop the driver of a red Acura for careless driving at the intersection of Grant Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive, at 1:34 a.m., reports said The driver refused to stop and police chased the car to Arlington Avenue, where the driver slammed on the brakes and put the car in reverse, hitting the front of the patrol car and injuring one of the police officers, reports said. Two men jumped out of the car. The passenger fled south on Arlington Avenue and the driver ran on Myrtle Avenue, where a police officer tackled him to the ground, reports said. But the driver broke free from the officer and during the struggle, dropped a cell phone, black ski mask and a loaded .380 caliber handgun, before fleeing out of sight, reports said. CHARLES HACK
