Before they eventually got into LCCS (great charter) my neighbors had their daughter in Stevens. I believe there is one in Hoboken and one in Newport. Seems to be a great school from everything I have heard.

I have heard very good comments about Primary Prep located in the Journal Square area. They begin at PreK and I believe, have classes to 8th grade.

The downtown schools almost always have long waiting lists for the PreK-3 slots.

I am looking for any recommendations of private grade schools in jersey city but I prefer a non-religious one. I am aware of the montessori ones. Any others that people can recommend?
