Probably 1 % of residents apply for a permit for a yard sale. I'd use the military policy, and don't ask, don't tell.

Clothing doesn't sell well at stoop sales, but if that's all you've got hang everything up and space them out so people can see them easily. No one's going to sort through your plastic bins.

Join the Friends of Van Vorst Park?s community flea market being held on June 20th. You will benefit from the foot-traffic of the VVP farmer?s market and by having other vendors like you, creating interest in what you are selling.

See the jclist ?event calendar? for June 20th for more information.

Hi all - I'm thinking about doing a stoop sale, and this will be my first time. I'd like to ask people here how I can make it a successful one.

I'll mainly be selling used baby / toddler clothes, toys, and used woman's clothing.

Any tips / recommendations would be appreciated, such as:
1. what should be the price points for the baby toddler clothes, woman's clothes, and toys?

2. what time of the day works best? (I live on montgomery Str, close to city hall)

3. should I hang up some of the merchandize or just leave everything in big plastic bins?

4. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance!
