Someone who lives nearby needs to shoot video -- this place is an ongoing problem -- there are many threads about it -- here's some:

It must have been around 2 a.m. and there is no telling where that fighting reached. Like you said, cars were actually pulling up out of nowhere and people jumping out to join the fight. So that then initiated a bunch of honking from other cars. It was a circus.

I have also been told by a guy that grew up in JC, that apparently Missy Elliot occasionally stops by there : )

Hey, about what time was this fight? Because I saw police searching the alleys between 4th and 5th and brunswick and monmouth that night. I was wondering what was going on. Could it have spilled out all the way over there?

The thing that amuses me about that bar, and the Barge Inn is that the people going there are not from the neighborhood. They all drive, and most of them seem like trash. Like, I don't know anyone that spends friday night at Jordan's Lounge.

Why do they have one white guy as a bartender? Is it an inside joke?

That's pretty much how this fight was. There were clusters of people running and screaming down Newark...some away from the action, some towards it. The whole area including the car park next door was just full of people in various stages of fighting. I was wondering when the bullets would start flying.

I'm not even quite sure what the overall appeal of this 'lounge' is.

I lived across the street from that place (2nd St) for 6 months - it was horrible! It's nowhere near as bad as Ringside, but seriously this place is horrible and should probably be closed. There was a huge fight outside a few months back where I'd say 50-100 people filled out onto Newark Ave.

Just got home and there was a huge street fight pouring out of Jordan's. Honking cars, screaming girls, fists flying....ahh...good times in JC.
