Is that what they call it these days? "CD's"? How much CD's can you get for ten bucks?

It is even more interesting sitting at LITM in the summer at watching the comings and goings of various people that park in front of that building, honk their horn, then run up to that apt, and leave after a few moments. Those must be some real good CD's.

- Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

my favorite part is when they sit on the glass cases and stare at all the commuters walking by on Newark. awesome.

That is so funny. I have asked myself the same question over and over. The guys tend to use the upstairs apt as well. Now that it is Spring you will hear music blaring out the stairwell. I have no idea how they are able to pay a store front rent will homemade cd's. I just do not get it nor do I ask. It seems a touch fishy to me. Empty glass cases and nothing to sell at all. Hummmmm!!!! Knowing how high rent rates are in downtown JC and on Newark close to Grove it seems a bit odd.

I agree - it's bizarre - I thought they might be clearing out, but it's been over a year since the place has looked like that...

Quite a regular

That's "The Spot" son! (the actual name of the store)
It was a cell phone, "mix tape" cd shop in its day but yes, recently it looks like it's been hit with a bomb. I figured they were going out of business and just using the time left on the lease to sell whatever was left. BUT it has been a while now and it's the same... strange.

There is a storefront by Skinner's Loft on Newark Ave where random people just hang out, and it looks like they are selling some CDs. The place looks completely dilapidated inside, and the people in the store just hang out outside. It looks like the place used to be a cell phone store or something. Does anyone have a clue what this place is?
