That's a stupid idea, a criminal has already betrayed his country by committing a criminal act, they would do it again if they were offered money or freedom. The easier way is to bring back the death penalty when a criminal after five violent felonies or related to drugs, 2 convictions related to sexual assault, pedophilia, etc., or a conviction for murder or attempted murder with a maximum 5 years of appeal time.

This Boy Scout should never walk the streets again. If a country is at war you should be able to put a piece of crap like this on trail. Once convicted they should be on the next plane to the front lines to search for road side bombs or something like that.

Cops: Escaped prisoner nabbed with 333 bags of drugs
Saturday, December 20, 2008 By MICHAELANGELO CONTE JOURNAL STAFF WRITER Jersey City cops grabbed an escaped prisoner Thursday and charged him with numerous offenses after finding him with an illegal handgun and more than 300 bags of suspected cocaine, heroin and marijuana, officials said. James "Hollywood" Gourdine, 27, of Rutgers Avenue, was arrested at his home after four hours of surveillance and he was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and other weapons charges including possession of hollowpoint bullets, and numerous drug charges including possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, reports said. Gourdine began a state prison term on June 8, 2007 for drug possession and he went missing from a Newark halfway house on Aug. 29, corrections officials said. Jersey City cops went to his home after getting information he was back and he was dealing drugs from the location, reports said. Police watched Gourdine leave his home and stopped him a short distance away, where he denied that's where he had been, reports said. A search of the residence turned up a Glock 9mm with the hollowpoint rounds, about $800, and suspected drugs that included 191 bags of heroin, 141 bags of suspected cocaine and one bag of marijuana, reports said.
