One Jersey City man was shot in the face and a second in the leg when gunfire erupted at a Greenville park yesterday afternoon. Both were listed in stable condition at Greenville Hospital last night, officials said
The shooting took place at a park at Rose Street and Old Bergen Road around 3:15 p.m., Lt. Edgar Martinez said.
Police are looking for two men seen running away from the park after the gunfire. One is described as being 5-foot-10 and wearing a brown North Face jacket, Martinez said. The other is described as being 5-foot-8 and wearing a gray jacket, a "skully" hat and blue jeans, he said.
No additional information was available last night.
