Cops: Jersey City woman bleeding from leg following report of a fight
By Michaelangelo Conte/The Jersey Journal March 18, 2010, 6:00PM A Jersey City woman suffered a leg injury near the West District Police Station when a fight broke out near Crown Chicken in the early morning hours today, officials said. Officers responding to Crescent and Communipaw avenues on a report of a stabbing found the 20-year-old woman bleeding from the leg, reports said. She said she was hanging out near the chicken restaurant when a fight broke out and as she walked away she noticed blood on her leg, reports said. The woman was very uncooperative, reports said, adding that she was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center for stitches, reports said.
