I'm mostly a student of Downtown's cheap eats, but off the top of my head:

The chinese buffet on 440 at Danforth is a pretty good deal and above average food.

The Trini place, Sandra's Caribbean Cuisine on Communipaw at Westside is pretty good. I still miss the jerk chicken at Lisa's Roti (where Legal Beans now is)

The Gyro place on 440 by Lowes is decent, not as good as in Astoria, (none are) and way more reasonably priced and more filling than It's Greek To Me.

I've yet to find much interesting in Hoboken that was both decent and not overpriced. The eggplant parm at Luca Brasi is pretty good, it's fried fresh and crispy not soggy.

I like the hot food bar at 555 Tonelle Ave the Asian super market you get big portions, I usually get 2 meals out 1 order. Very authentic Asian food, take out only.

What are people's favorite cheap, delicious spots to eat in Hudson County? I'm especially looking for spots outside downtown JC--in the Heights, JSQ, West Side, etc.
Even more so, looking for places in Hoboken, Kearny, Union City, North Bergen, Weehawken, Harrison, etc.

And what's so great about them?
