the public schools had a half-day yesterday including the school across the street from the event. unfortunately, we missed it, but others enjoyed.
the weekend Art Harvest event(s) last and the coming weekends have been real nice especially the varied performances. Quote:

Hamilton Square Condominiums is offering schoolkids jack-o-lanterns tomorrow as part of its October "Art Harvest"
Tuesday, October 19, 2010 Hamilton Square Condominiums in Jersey City is offering schoolchildren a chance to select Halloween jack-o-lanterns tomorrow. The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. at the complex, 232 Pavonia Ave., and hot cocoa and apple cider will be available. For the remaining Saturdays and Sundays in October, Hamilton Square is hosting "The Art Harvest," featuring plays, storytelling, arts and crafts, a hay maze, music and and more. The Art Harvest will take place at Hamilton Park, noon to 5 p.m. KARINA ARRUE
