I usually call 201-432-4645 Ext 675 for my parking information and it says suspended.

Could it be that they have simply not updated their message? I can't get anyone on the phone at the office on Central. I need visitor permits if it is NOT suspended today. But it seems they are closed. So that would mean that the rules are suspended, right? I mean the post offices are closed so I couldn't go next door to get the money order to pay for the things. And last year city hall and parking offices were closed and rules were suspended.

The parking authority recording says all parking and street cleaning rules are in effect today. 201-653-6969 ext 1. I called about 5 minutes ago.

JCIA has a recoding saying street cleaning suspended, which means parking rules are suspended as well for Columbus day
