Back in the day when Rocco ran the place, it was excellent.
They had great Pasta &Piselli soup.

Charlie opened a place in Secaucus off Paterson plank road.

I agree a shame when a nice place like this closes.

Good Luck

My wife and I were walking along Central Avenue the other day and saw that M & R Salumeria closed down. Does anyone know what happened? It was far from the best Italian grocer in the 'hood, but it's always a shame to see one of those places go.
