This DOES have its own thread: "New Mexican Food Cart Downtown" under Restaurants & Bars. There is lots of detail about the food, the hours of operation, and rave reviews.

They usually set up around 5:30 or so and stay there past midnight. I think the only day they are definitely not there is Monday but then you get the farmers' market so it's a win either way :)

I know this was a part of the long-running Taqueria discussion before but believe it deserves its own thread.

Earlier I tried the third of the four offerings at the cart outside the Path and they have all been amazing. I told the co-owners, Alex and Aaron (spelling may be wrong) that they were getting good pub on JClist and they both were excited. Good people making really good food that you cant get anywhere else than JC....gotta support it.

I love Taqueria for sure, and won't put down one to hype the other; nothing wrong with supporting two places that are making good food and really are not in direct competition with one another.

Give it a try if you haven't yet, the hot sauce is unreal and they are making everything by hand at home till they get enough clientele to open a place up.

Last thing..found out tonight that Aaron is becoming a first time father tomorrow so congrats man :)
